Carma Violet
Teenage Guinea Pig
Gadget, my 6 month guinea has always done something when I bring my hand close to her cage. When she knows it's me she will always come over but then reaches her head out as if asking for a scratch. I always ablige but she makes that rubbling purring sound that is very close to the dominance rumbling, however, it is slightly different. It's more quiet, and her body doesn't vibrate in the way she does when kicking Gimmick back in place. She will always flop right out when I massage her for long enough, almost rolling on her side.
I just want to check that this IS a good thing and not her getting irritated. She never runs from me, and always comes over. I always give her a way out if she choices not to have a scratch, but she never moves off...
Any advice? Suggestions?
