I am thinking about building my piggies a cc cage. I really would love to have a 2x4 for them
but unfortunately i dont have the room. Would a 2x3 with a loft be sufficient? Also does anyone have the exact measurements for each size? Thanks!

Personally I think its fine, a ferplast 120 gives about 0.6 sq m (the base slopes) and a 3x2 without the loft gives 0.7 sq m so with the loft its actually quite a lot bigger than the commercial cages that are considered the bare minimum.

Yes 2 piggies. I might be able to fit a 2x4 diagonally. I will just have to put it together and try it out

You could overlap grids to make it that little bit bigger as well if space permitted or do a corner cage

I managed to squeeze 2x4 in the corner. I used cable ties rather than the connectors so that made it a tad bit smaller other wise it wouldnt have fitted. I had such trouble with the coroplast. Of course I didnt measure it right and the piece i bought only allowed me to do 4 inch sides. It seems ok though cause i have the fleece pulled over it on the sides so they cant burrow. I will eventually probably do the chloroplast over again. I also made a stand to keep them on so they are off the floor. Once I buy some storage bins I will take pics of the final product. :)
