I just assembled a Skyline Maxi XXL Small Pet Cage, bought it from zooplus, it's a good cage, amazing value.

The plan is to neuter my boar Doughnut, get a pair of girl piggies from a rescue (I've already reserved them, will be getting soon), and introduce them once Doughnut is no longer fertile. The cage is so the girlies can live indoors until the weather is warmer, they will eventually be in a 5 ft hutch outdoors with Doughnut.

However if there is a very harsh winter, I would move them into the garage in the cage, perhaps with a blanket draped over the top of it. Would the 120 cm cage be all right to house all 3 piggies until the warmer weather? They would get plenty of floortime.

Not sure how to advise as 120cm is supposed to be minimum for 2 sows only. However, as it will be in the garage could you not extend the cage by attaching a run to it & leaving the cage door pen? I was thinking like those 6 or 8 sided foldable metal puppy playpens.
