I have recently taken in 2 new female piggies who are 9 weeks old and already have 2 females who are 13 months old.
The 2 new babies have been in their own cage for the last week and today i thought i would start to try and introduce them to the big girls!
I made a big run for them and placed a divider between the 2 sets of pigs which was made of some spare grids from my c&c cage. I thought this way they could get to see each other / smell each other before being face to face.
When i did so, both sets of pigs starting tugging at the divider whilst wheeking, they were also nibbling at each others ears through the gaps !
Is this a good sign and wanting to get to each other or is this them not being happy and wanting to rip each other apart ?
Please help as i really want my girls to get on but dont want to stress them if its going to be too much for them all.
