Okay some of you might know that I welcomed my first Boar piggie into my family just over one and a half months ago. And well I am very nervous about introducing him to Zee my 5year old sow who I am ashamed to say has been alone for a good 3 years. But it is because of this I am greatly attached to her and I am affraid for them both, if they are injured in a fight. If a fight should surface what can I do?

It's been over 6 weeks since Leo was neutered and so now is why I post this.
But I am greatly worried...I think honestly just for the sake of worrying (I am sorry)

My idea was that to get them out either today or tomorrow at the usuall 6pm ish time, set up a play area on the floor with some scattered veggie's and let them find each other. Then after a few introductions like this over a couple of weeks if they go well they can sleep together one night.
I just would like some feedback on this, is my idea good?
If not please feel free to share your idea's

Thank you.

Guys you're going to be so ashamed of me. I had them together for about 5 minutes before I split them up. I am so angry at myself. Leo kept rumble strutting and then trying to mount Zee's face! Which she didn't like and so she'd chatter her teeth so then Leo would chatter his teeth back, then I was terrified so I ended it.
So what I am wondering is how long is to long with teeth chattering before I actually intervene?

I am sure what happened was all normal behaviour that a boar shows a sow. But I suddenly forgot what every behavior meant and I protected Zee far to much! Ohh why I am I so silly? :laluot_32:

He also groomed her so much on her face, ears, mouth...and lady area.
