Introducing Venetia and Guinevere

Iris would like to forget introduce her new friends Venetia (with the dramatic eye patches) and Guinevere (aka Little Miss Mischief).

The girls have been with us 3 weeks tomorrow. It was the easiest bonding ever. Iris (nicknamed Intimidating Iris) accepted the girls within minutes and they moved into a baby proofed cage within a very short space of time.


Over the last 3 weeks the girls have grown in size and volume. They are incredibly speedy so it’s not easy getting group photos. They’ve bonded really well with Iris who is undoubtedly the boss. But they are currently trying to work out which of them is boss of the other….. it’s very funny watching such young ladies chinning off and tooth chattering at each other then popcorning away afterwards. They’ve brought such joy back into our household.

We get a lot of teeth chattering and chinning off between the girls around here since Kylie (the teenager from hell) moved in.
I hope your girls will manage to work out who is top pig to the other. But with sisters it can take a while, like a few years.

it’s such fun to watch them bouncing all over the houses, then all over the cage, then bumping into Iris, stopping in their tracks and then popcorning off all over again. They are sooo bouncy.

Butter was never the problem.
But apart from their squabbling, they were sweethearts. Quinny, the black and white one, loved to pose for the camera.

I get them from B&M, Dunelm and IKEA. One set have shrunk in hot washing but I couldn’t tell you which! I use disposable puppy pads underneath to catch the wee.
