I am happy to announce it looks like the boys have taken with each other. There are still some grumbles and squabbles over the corner big hut, but overall they seem to tolerate the huge new adjustment. I'm so happy these two little guys will be friends and I hope they grow closer every day.

Introducing them was very stressful, I think I read everything ever written about introducing boars.

Thank you ^.^

I got the boxes from Ikea, and cut out the sides. They're really durable and the pigs aren't interested in chewing them. They were like $6.

Then for an extra hay box, instead of a sack I got a cardboard paper box for $2 and cut holes in the spine and side, it works wonderfully for hay. We also picked up a food tray for $2 on clearance and it works great for a tray they can hop into and eat the hay.

The boys are still fighting though, just every once in a while. Salsa seems fairly aggressive to go boss Queso and Queso is getting sick of it. Not sure how normal this is. But they bicker, Salsa squeals, then it's over.

I have got to try out those IKEA boxes! They look so snug....do they come in an extra large size? Say, um...human size? I'm asking for a friend:whistle:

They only come in one size :( I do wish they made slightly bigger one! But if you want to try it, use an exacto knife to cut. It took a while, but it was a clean cut and worked well.
