Meet Sierra. 😍😍😍 I think she's a smooth crested if I'm not mistaken. She's just 5 weeks old. And she fits right in. Cookie and Prince keeps on chasing her and they can't catch her. She's so quick and fast!

We adopted her yesterday from Hartwells Homeless Small Animal Foster Home in Northampton (recommended by Debbie of TEAS). We needed to get a baby piggy that can encourage Prince to be active and at the same time be Cookie's constant playmate. Prince would always just sit and eat in front of the food bowl and then sleep most of the day. Cookie always want to play and it caused some spat between the two coz Prince can't be bothered.

Now, just a day of getting Sierra, Prince can't stop chasing and running around. The little girl is just full of energy. Cookie ended up last night just watching her run around the floor. The 3 are currently enjoying their time together. No problems with bonding at all. I didn't even have to put them in a neutral area because the 2 accepted her immediately.

Aaawwweee, such a darling :luv:
She is simply stunning! x

Here they are all together. Prince and Cookie don't like being on the sofa so both were well behaved. Sierra was quite inquisitive. She already figured out how to go up and down the ramp of the hutch and she's not even here 24hrs! She only runs away whenever she sees me going near. But apart from that, she's quite brave.

Thank you all! I love my new piggy! She has been very inquisitive and been so happy moving in.

She was born in the rescue (well they are more of a foster place) we adoped her from. Her mum belongs to a group of 7 pregnant piggies surrendered to them. They said quite a few died in that group. One had 7 babies and they all died, including the mum. Sierra belongs to a litter of 2. Her mum and sister was all okay. Sierra was reserved for us from the moment she was sexed.

We didn't get her until yesterday because we were on our 2-week holiday overseas. The fosterer said she was the only one left in her cage. All the mums were adopted and all the litters were adopted as well. She said Sierra was beginning to feel sad for herself after everyone left her alone. She just wanted companies. No wonder she was so excited seeing Cookie and Prince.

I'll post a video tomorrow how happy she is now. :D:lol:

She soooo pretty! Welcome to the most forever home little one!

She is absolutely stunning. That second photo shows of such a beautiful set of whiskers! I’m so glad she’s been accepted into the herd and is obviously enjoying her new found family and freedom. What a cutie :luv:

She’s growing into a real stunner
She is! And she's very brave. She's been running around the living room and inspects every corner she can get to. We covered all opennings where she can get stuck just to be clear haha. She is so vocal too and runs nonstop. Then she'll sleep under the hay so that I won't see her. She is still wary of me whenever I want to pick her up, but so is Cookie anyway. 😂😂

So my little Sierra has poked herself with a hay just down below her nose, where the split is, probably last night coz I've seen it when I weighed her this morning (she now weighs 642 grams at 9 weeks old; she was 440 grams when we got her). She's done completely the same with Cookie when we got her the first few weeks. It looks quite bad in the photo but it really isn't. She had the scab this morning and she managed to removed it and show a tiny cut. Obviously I will monitor it but it isn't bothering her at all and she's still being her usual confident little girl running and eating nonstop. 😁😁😁

Here she is having a cuddle time with mummy before sleeping time.
