Introducing..... Poppy

Today I picked up a lovely, 1 year old rescue pig, Poppy/Julie (my Daughter keeps changing her mind hehe). This piggy was originally posted for sale on Facebook, so the rescuer picked her up from Southampton and drove her back to Basingstoke to ensure her wellbeing. What a lovely lady!

My Ruffles pig lost her cagemate at the weekend and is hardly eating, so thought a new friend was needed sooner than later. Introductions have so far gone well, Ruffles is very submissive, which probably helps. Fingers crossed they become best friends!

They are both lovely. Hope they get along ok. I've never heard of a Piggie named Julie, it's a great name choice.

All seems to be going well! I've not see any chasing today and they're happily sitting side by side eating grass. Ruffles normally hides, so it's lovely to actually see her! Result!
