Hey!
I'm hoping to introduce my little Daisy to my current 2 sows in the next few weeks.
To start them off I've put her cage next to their run. Her cage is on top of theirs at night....
I've noticed that Snowdrop and Cookie will wonder over to the side that's near her cage and, make little wheeking noises and then Daisy (who is SO shy) will poke her head out of her pigloo and squeak back which is sweet! Cookie has also been wondering rounding making this weird purry noise and vibrating with it though and then having little runs around her run. I haven't seen her be like this before and was wondering if it might be someting to worry about?
As this is my first ever introduction, I'm incrediably nervous as don't want to end up with any injuries etc! I'm going to do it slowly with cages close to each other so they can get used to each other etc and then am going to buy a whole set of new houses and toys, so when doing the face to face intro they will have all new smells to try and reduce territorialness.
Sorry for being a pain!
