Introducing New Piggies

Hi, I am new this site, wanted to join as have read many helpful posts.My question is I have a pair of boars,about 18months old who get on very well.I would like to add another pair can this be done ? All advice welcome, thanks x

Hi and welcome to the forum. With boars two work best so I would not think of adding any more. You could have another pair living apart though.

Cheers, I hadn't thought of that.I will have a think regarding space etc- I wanted pigs all running around together lol, but what is best for them is way more important. Thanks for advice

I've never had boys but imagine it could be a full on riot with 4!
My sister had 3 boys who mostly got on but the poor lad at the bottom of the pecking order did get a raw deal sometimes. And a friend of mine has 4 boys but living across 3 cages - they chat through the bars but fight if together. Have you read the guides on boar behaviour? Maybe they would help a bit?

I haven't but definitely will thanks, would hate to intro more and ruin the good relationship the ones I have have got that would be sad
