Junior Guinea Pig
Hi.
At the end of this week it will be 2 weeks since I got my new female pig. I would like to introduce her to my pair of female pigs.
They will be meeting in a room where none of them have been before, in a large indoor run type thingy.
Shall I give them a tunnel to run through and some hideys?
I plan to have them in there for a few hours (if there are no scraps!) so shall I provide them with food and water?
I have read that when Guinea pigs meet it can sometimes look pretty rough, when is the limit that I should separate them if the squabble?
Also, I have brought a very large indoor cage for them all to live in. Providing everything goes well when they meet, will it be okay to have them living together in the new cage after a few hours of meeting?
Thanks for reading. I am nervous but excited about introducing them. I REALLY hope they get on. Any tips will be very much appreciated.
