Hi,another quick question. As pigs are young and from pet store I'm assuming they haven't had fresh grass. They have a large hutch with run attached. how do I go about introducing grass gradually as don't want them stuck in hutch when I'm at work and don't want to upset tummies.

Just start off by hand picking some for them, maybe sprinkle a little over their veg. Then just slowly increase the amount over time so they don't get an upset stomach. Just be careful not to give much veg if they've had a lot of grass:)

Here are our detailed tips for lawn time. Start with a small handful and then increase the amount with each time over the course of the next few days. Do the same with any new veg you are introducing.
