Two sows from the Burford Blue Cross rescue. They came home with me last weekend. They're tiny - only 800g - and they've obviously not been handled much at all.

Introductions to my current gang of three happened earlier this week, the Burford Blue Cross don't offer a dating service. With lots of space things seem to be going ok whilst they all sort our their rankings. Hopefully this will continue - but if it doesn't we've got a double deck hutch so I can keep two groups if necessary. Here's hoping that doesn't happen though!

The five together out in the run this afternoon.

We're going with the names for now - fuzzy and smooth just wasn't working, and Agatha does seem to suit our new little rex piggie. They're apparently a year and a half old - I hope they do a bit of growing as they do seem very small for their age.

There was a bit of a nose off and some snorting last night - so the ranking/dominance process isn't as settled as I'd hoped. The single entranced hidey has come back out of their pen just in case. Never mind, I've got accommodation and runs for two groups is necessary.

They are beautiful. And I love their names. And it takes about 2 weeks to sort out herd rankings in the dominance stakes so I wouldn’t be surprised to see a bit of scuffling for position ove the next few days.

Awwwwwww beautiful ladies! So pleased to hear they are settling in
