Hi, I may have this in the wrong section, and apologise if I do. But I have a skinny pig called Bertie who's friend Eric unfortunately died yesterday, the problem I have is Bertie was very sociable and loved to try and cuddle Eric. Now he looks so lost, I'm thinking of getting him a girlfriend, when do you think is the right length of time to get one? (I'm not thinking right now but with him being 4 months I thought the sooner the better?)

I am sorry for your loss. Bring him along to your local rescue, just type in your postcode in the rescue locator on this forum, or go to the RSPCA pet search: http://www.rspca.org.uk/findapet?p_...p_p_col_pos=1&p_p_col_count=2#onSubmitSetHere
Contact the local reuse centre and ask if they have a piggie to match him up with. Take him along in a secure carrier and let the piggie dating begin!
See which piggie he gets on best with and bring her home! Can we have some pics of your piggies please?
I think the sooner the better is best!

I agree with the above and would have thought the sooner the better. I'm sorry for your loss. And when you're reafy I would too love to see some pictures x

You can only get Bertie a girlfriend if he has been neutered then it takes six weeks before it is safe to interact with a sow.
