Hi
I have 3 male (boar) guinea pigs
Oreo is an adult I don't know his his age
I bought him at a pet store and they did not know his age
Teddy and peanut are 7,8 mounts old and are always bickering ever since I got Oreo . Oreo lives in a seperate cage for now until I introduce them I don't know how to and I'm scared to as well
Yesterday peanut managed to climb into Oreos cage and they were just rumble strutting and mounting
If I do introduce them will it go wrong cuz penut already saw him
Pleas help
Thanks

Hiya :)

I wouldn't advise having a group of 3 boars living together, I know it can sometimes work out but i wouldn't risk a big fight breaking out.

Someone else will have more information than me though I'm sure :)

Hi and welcome!

Three boars will only work if the character combination is exactly right. Mostly trios don't work. Your two younger boars are right in the middle of the big hormones at the moment and at the most difficult age to bond.

If I were you, I would not try it, and especially not try it now! You can easily end up with three single boars that will fight with each other whenever they see each other!

Please concentrate on getting your two younger boars as a couple through the next few months until the worst danger of fall outs and bloody fights is over (ca. 12-14 months old). Oreo will be OK living next to them if he can interact through the bars with the boys, so he is not completely alone.

Here is our boar guide with more links. You will understand better after reading this: http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=76162

Can you please add your country to your details. We have members from all over the world and our advice can be very different. That way, we can give you the right advice for you straight away.
