Hey everyone, my boy Fred (2,5 years old) has had some tummy troubles for around a month now, during that we’ve been to 3 vet visits and he’s had his molars filed down, presumably his stomach got weird initially because he ate very little hay because of the tooth issue. But now (2 ish weeks after the tooth filing) he still gets weird poops sometimes, it’s not every day, perhaps every third day or so. I attached a picture of a strange poo he made today, the other ones are what the rest look like. Occasionally he makes a very very small poo too, like the size of 1/10th of a regular poo. He’s eating hay, moving around like a maniac, drinking and eating his veggies like normal, but this still has me so incredibly worried. He also poops the regular amount now after his teeth got fixed. What do I do at this point? The vet hasn’t found anything other than the teeth and we’ve gone to 2 difference ones, the one we go to regularly is highly skilled in exotic animals. Could it be an anal gland issue or something? What do I do?

Thank you! 🥰 luckily it doesn’t seem that urgent at least, he did just have a poop with a very very thin “tail” which has happened sometimes after the initial issue

I’m sorry to hear this.
It doesn’t look terrible and if it isn’t happening all the time then it isn’t a major issue.
I think all we can suggest is that you weigh him every day for a while so that you can monitor hay intake. Perhaps try a probiotic also.
