I was talking to someone recently and I'd thought I'd share it with everyone out of interest. 
She has 2 boars and several girls living together (boys neutered) and they all get on really well. They have a very big cage though.
Obviously it doesn't work most of the time and it makes things more risky but I thought it was cool to know that it is possible.
I always wondered about it cos my dad used to have pigs when he was a kid and they had several males and lots of females all living together but could free range in half the garden. And you hear about big groups in zoos, etc.
I'm not recommending it but thought other people might be interested
