Our girl Nelli has had about 5 cuts on her nose in the past couple of months - one even appeared at the same time as a cloudy eye (presume she was got in the nose and eye in one swipe).

Nelli is an older girl (5-6 years old) with multiple health issues, and is well bonded into her herd. She has recently developed cataracts and is losing some sight. She lives with two quite rowdy characters, however.

Technically blood has been drawn multiple times - but every time is a cut/slice on the nose that looks more like a paper cut. It isn’t deep, and doesn’t resemble a bite mark - more likely a swipe from one of the other pigs paws.

My question is - is it still okay to keep them together despite this happening repeatedly and quite frequently? There isn’t an outright fight or aggression, I just think because Nelli is quite slow and old, she is the victim of a misjudged swipe of the claws when the others get excited about having food etc.
