Hi guys. So! Two of my Guinea pigs had a fight and one of them has an injured eye due to it. Following the injury we took him to the vet where he was prescribed anti-inflammatory medication and eye drops.

A couple of days on from the accident, he now sounds as though he has a snotty nose but it is only blocked on the same side as the injured eye if that makes sense?

Any ideas/ suggestions on what to do are more than welcome :)

Sorry to hear they had a fall out. If he’s sounding snotty I would consider getting him checked over by the vet. Hopefully it’s nothing.

Hi

It is likely injury related but if in any doubt, please contact your vets; especially if the snottiness is persists and is still there by tonorrow or is getting worse.
