Evening.....

As you might remember I updated a week ago with the piggies new adventures, and their new home for the winter (http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=96974)

So far it's going well, we've converted the 'outhouse' into a rodent room (with the ratties living on the utility work surface) and casper cat has been relocated to the dining room with his very own private cat flap!

This is the set up:

Since then we've added a blankie between the two runs, which means the boys aren't trying to see whats going on with their neighbours:

The boys space:

Coby and Tabby (I've given them both a bit more room as with a new set up and them both being relatively new in relationship terms i want them to get on!) - they only have a small amount of hay as i was in the middle of cleaning lol!

They're also getting 'play' time for four hours daily, we've piggie proofed the room so they can take it in turns to freely run around - using blankies to cover the sides of the two runs. So far this is working really well for us, and i think they have much more space than being kept in the ferplast 120?

So far so good!

its looking fab!
What are the cages made of? is it something you've made? i'm getting a little fed up with c&c at the moment, it all seems to keep coming apart! was looking at trying other options.

Looks fab as always! I'd just be a bit cautious with the boys being so close to Tabby in case they get her smell which could lead to some bickering/fights :)

aww its looking fabby

Thank you. :)

The cages are one homemade fold up run and the other is a fold up run of zooplus (normally their outdoor runs) http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/small_pets/runs_fencing/73299/33224

Works well for me.

Thank you hun, we do plan to move the runs a little further apart when we move the sideboard out of the run (as its huge and taking up quite a bit of space). But so far no fights or fall outs, just two boars chilling out on a tasty pile of hay! :))

:)) good good, glad they're behaving! It must be lovely seeing more of them!
