I've found myself with three single guinea pigs, all of whom have to be housed indoors!

Therefore, as I do not have the room to continue to house them side-by-side, I would greatly appreciate any ideas on how to house them on top of one another!

I require a setup that will accommodate three 120-150cm cages (I'm afraid that I am not a fan of C&C housing)! However, I would also require the cages to be raised off the floor!

Again, any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

I am looking at plexiglass too - I have 3 sets of pigs in my lounge a trio and two pairs - they take up about 25% of the lounge as they are all in open top c & c on the floor - want to build a sort of 2 step clear system, like one of those tool boxes that you open up and one level slides out - so the trio could go in the top section, and the two pairs could go underneath with a clear divider down the middle - cant do it with c& C as the window is very low,and when I tried to put another section of c & c on top it looked like a cross between a prison and the scaffolding on a building site!- wicks sell the plexiglass, but for me its how to section it all together so its strong enough - this will free up floor space & not make my lounge look so messy - plexiglass is also quite pricey.

I am making an indoor pen for rabbits, i've done a few already but would these be okay for Guinea Pigs i'm not sure but they do look lovely in a room. If anyone like to see a photo i could share one here.

Thank you for your reply, TAN - I am considering Plexiglass, but I am not sure whether this would work for me either. . .

Thank you for your reply, Daniel - Please do share information, and/or a photograph of the product/s you are able to offer! Greatly appreciated!

Perhaps, you could help me with another housing issue I am having difficultly solving?! I have a 6' x 2' Triple Rabbit/Guinea Pig Hutch (I believe that it is made from solid pine wood), which I would like to be raised further off the ground - Of course, as I believe that it is made from solid pine wood, it is quite weighty. . . Any ideas?!

This is the indoor pen:

They can be different sizes, or shapes etc and many options can be done too.

In terms of raising your hutch, you could build some legs or use bricks.
This is type of legs i do, you would need at east two and many one in the center:

Love that indoor bunny pen! Much nicer and more styleish than the dog crate and sectional metal run that i have for my rabbit!

Have you managed to design a Plexiglass set up, TAN?!

Thank you for sharing, doglovinpiggylover - I do believe that I would like a similar set up!

I agree, Goth Mummy - The indoor pen is quite aesthetically pleasing, and I would imagine relatively easy to keep clean/ low maintenance!
