I have just made a run for Ellie and Aurora so they can get plenty of exercise and be in the same room as Emma and myself!

We are going to get a water bowl and some more toys for it.

Would it be better to line the bottom or are we ok to leave it as it is? We would have to go down the fleace route if we need too as this is something that needs to be put up and taken down quickly and easily.

I'd leave it as it is, lining it with somthing would be a difficult, pigs getting underneth :whistle:and making a mess . Also the washing if you are thinking fleece.

I would maybe add a litter tray and peg fleece over it . This would then only need lifted out then run swept.

That's a nice run. What's it made of? Cardboard?

It's a great run . If I were you, I'd look around for a nice cheap throw to line it

I just put sheets of newspaper on mine, I scrunch a few up & lay some flat. my piggies like to hide underneath it. I found my piggies didn't run on my plastic sheet much but seem to now I put lots of paper in. I also put a plastic chair in with a towel draped over for them to hide in. (It started with a wooden chair until I realised big chunks had been eaten! )

On eBay you can buy a ream of packing paper for around £14.50. Sounds a lot but you get 10 kg of what is basically unprinted newspaper! I just put in an order myself as I want to try it out in my piggy run but don't buy newspapers!

It's lovely :) I think putting in a hay box with some kind of litter on the bottom may be helpful. They may end up doing most of their wee's in that, and if it works out that way it will make things easier :)
