Indoor Play Space Ideas...what Do You Do?

Hello all

I'm looking for inspiration. My 3 piglets Pamela, Patricia and pablo live outside but we have them in every evening where they sit on the sofa on top of lots of blankets etc. But it's slowly trashing my sofa. We did use a really large box with handles to carry them to and from and for when they were inside but that got damp and gross.

What do you use? I want something that I can contain them on the sofa that won't allow little wee wees leak through. Is large enough for 3 piggies to walk around for the time they are inside.

Mine go on an old picnic blanket on the floor at cuddletime and run around on that while waiting for cuddles. Sometimes Betsy and Christian decide to go "off blanket" for a little adventure. Betsy's favourite place is to wander under one of the chairs and Christian seems to like the marble hearth (fire is never on). We used to put them on the sofa on the blanket but were afraid of them launching themselves onto the floor. They can't fall off the floor. All 5 are free to roam anywhere they want to in the house but they prefer to stay on or near the blanket.

That's a great idea. Unfortunately I have a dog who loves them a little bit too much. So I need something with sides that then puts them out of his reach.

I was thinking the corraplast things but not sure how strong they are.

Would it be possible to put the dog in a different room temporarily while your piggies are out and about?

When I don't want mine to have full floor time I use a puppy pen I bought on ebay. I put a shower curtain down to protect the floor.

Tou can also protect the floor with a plastic sheet or tablecloth.
