Hiya,
So at the moment I have 2 boars that live separately one of them is fine in his winter accomidation but the second named Patch is just over 7 years old and at the moment he lives outside in a hutch but I'm worried about him this year and after speaking to my mum I'm aloud to bring him indoors but I have a problem I don't have an indoor cage and unless I can find a cage that is under £20 then he will have to stay out for winter. I was wondering if you have any ideas on what I could do he would have run off my room after school and at the weekends I just need something for nights there is no second hand ones in my area so I was wondering what other ideas there is
many thanks piggielover12

How about a look on freecycle for a cage or preloved? They have a free section now, where are you based? someone here might have a cage spare.
Put a request out for a cage everywhere you can think of - people might have one but not advertised it, seeing a request might jump them into getting rid.

Failing that, do you have a way to bring the hutch indoors? or a pet carrier you can attach a run to? that plus a shower curtain and some puppy pads you are a goer!

Look at vonhaus interlocking systems. They do plastic coated grids eighteen pound for about twenty two grids.Old towels and fleece over a shower curtain and a cheap kitty litter tray and you have a cheap cage

If you put your location up there's always the chance someone here lives close enough to you to be able to help you out.

This is also great advice, i used to have one of these cages before i found C&C and they're amazing. Just as good as C&C.

I would look on gumtree and car boot sales etc for a seconhand indoor cage. You should be able to get one for £20 or less. I just got a 120 cm cage for £15. Last year I bought one for £8. At 7 years old I would jump at the chance to have him inside.

You can also rearrange it to any shape so could make a large rectangle if you wish. It depends on the space you have available :)
