Could you house guinea pigs in an indoor cage in a shed - with plenty of blankets over at night, a snuggle safe, lots of hay?
I guess it would have to be off the floor - so on a table or something?
Does anyone use indoor cages in their shed?

i use cages in the shed and yes with plenty of blankets and have a heater in their too But keep well away from draughts mine are at back of shed

:) Thanks for asking this, as I am in the same situation. I currently have my 2 Guinea pigs indoors in a Nero 3, and I use newspaper with fleece on top for their bedding, and they have a wood cabin to hide in.
We have a garden shed and I was thinking of putting them in there later in Spring/summer. They have an outdoor run that they go in now during the day, when the weathers good enough! - but I bring them in at teatime.
I was wondering if the Nero 3 in the shed would be OK rather than a hutch?

yes of course you can ;D I used to before i got all my built in hutches done O0

I used a indoor cage for about 3months till I could get Boris neutered so he could then live with his sisters! I just put extra hay/straw in his little house and a BIG thick blanket over the top. :smitten:
