Hay guys
I'm trying to talk the hubby into letting me bring my girls inside for the winter we have only had them a couple of weeks so I'm new to all this. Anyway we have a disabled son so we have hardly any space as he has a lot of equipment. So I Am looking for any advice on cadges I could use for the winter so could talk him into bringing them in. x

Hi!
While you wait for more experienced members to answer you with ideas, you can have a look at this thread: Member Gallery: C&C cages/homemade cages
It has a lot of member's cages. C&C and homemade! It's great to get ideas or even to just look at them because there are some pieces of art in there

Thank you hunny wow they look amazing :-) wish I had the space for them. I was crying last night that I would have to get rid of my girls as I'm struggling for space for the winter so I'm hoping someone can up with some ideas so I can keep them x

The saying is the bigger the better but two sows will be fine in a 120cm cage providing they have floor time on top.

Have you had a look on zooplus? They sell some good quality 120 cages on there at a decent price.

I can fully recommend the ferplast 120 at £49.99 Ferplast Rabbit & Guinea Pig Cage 120 | Free P&P £29+ at zooplus! and the Skyline Maxi XXL is also a popular choice and is only £34.99 at the minute
Skyline Maxi XXL Small Pet Cage | Free P&P £29+ at zooplus!

Little pet warehouse also sell decent cages Rat, Rabbit, Guinea Pig, Chinchilla and Hamster Cages from Little Pet Warehouse

I have my cage on a table so I can store the piggies things underneath which saves space.

It would help if we knew a bit more about the space that you have.
It doesn't need to be huge to make it work, and lots of people on here will have worked with limited space issues.
Can you post a photo or description of the area you are thinking of using?

Depending on the cage it could go on a table so you still have storage areas underneath.

I was looking at the ones that are on a try with wheels I will look at the Ines u have said thank you guys. My little boy is at school and my husband works nights and I'm a stay at home mum so it's just me and the girls for most if the day so they will be out most if the day. Thank you soo much this means I can keep my girls x
