Incontinence Pads

I am expecting delivery of some washable incontinence bed pads any time now to go under the foam non slip matting that I've been using in my pigs cages.
Will these on their own be enough under the matting. They are described as holding 2litres.

And I assume that they will need a couple of washes before use as with fleece etc?

No need to wash, unless pre used then I would advise it! They will be enough on their own, I have one as they are quite pricey, and use matress protectors whilst it is in the wash. I have to say I don't find much difference. If your house is warm they will both dry off quickly and not stay damp. I haven't tested how long I can leave it till they stop absorbing pee as to be honest it gets changed after a few days due to smelliness! Good luck

Lol, the thought of second hand ones made me gag! These were good value, 3 for about £16. If they work out ok I might get another set of 3 next month.
