Junior Guinea Pig
Hi everyone-
I wanted to share about my beloved guinea pig, Glacier, who recently passed away in November due to spinal and arthritis issues. He was 4 years old and filled every single day of his life with joy and a sense of adventure.
Glacier was a beautiful little guy with the softest white and gray fur—he truly lived up to his name. One of my favorite memories of him was watching him popcorn around the room during playtime, so full of joy and energy. He was fearless, unbothered by sounds that might startle other guinea pigs. For a time, I thought he might be deaf or hard of hearing, but I later realized he could hear perfectly well.
His little wheeks were my morning routine, and the house feels so quiet without them. I’m heartbroken, but I’m also grateful for the time we had together. He brought so much light into my life, and I hope I gave him a good, happy life in return.
I’m sharing this here because I know many of you understand how hard it is to lose a pet. If you’ve been through something similar, I’d love to hear how you coped—or even just stories about your pets. It helps to connect with others who truly understand. Glacier is the first piggy loss I've had-we don't get enough time with these little critters.
Thank you for letting me share about Glacier . He was such a special little soul, and I will miss him every day.
