I'm tired of spending money on bedding so I ordered a c&c for Stripe (Chesney already has one).

I have two options:

I can wait till the pigs go to boarding and set it up for their return

Or

I can put Stripe in his carrier for 45 minutes and vacuum, deep clean, and assemble the cage.

Is that too long to be in his carrier also having the noise of the vacuum?

As long as he has plenty of hay and a water bottle he should be OK. Could Barret go in a carrier so you can put Stripe in another room while the vacuum is on?

Sounds good. Looking forward to seeing Stripe's lovely new set up 🏡

Exciting times! Hope your new home for Stripe arrives soon.

I would say, that’s not too long to be in the carrier. Just add plenty of hay for munching.
If Stripe is used to the vacuum it shouldn’t bother him, if it’s a new noise- I would recommend putting a blanket over the carrier so he feels a bit less scared.

Our piggies have managed 5hr car journeys with picnic snack stops.

Great, I can't wait for it to come. Maybe I'll just bite the bullet and do the vacuuming before it even comes.

Chez is scared of the vacuum but Stripe never hides.
