I'm so excited I've finally added the second level to my cage. Well I say I did, it was really my boyfriend whilst I sat and "guided him" with what to do rolleyes

At the moment I only have Athena but I'm really hoping we can get her new friends this weekend so keep your fingers crossed for me that the house check goes ok!

Do you think this is big enough for 3 piggies?

That looks amazing and I think there is more than enough space for three piggies. I really like your choice of toys!

Thanks :) I'm over the moon with it. Athena was running round investigating everything last night so I think she approves as well.

Plenty of space and looks fantastic. Lucky piggy. :) I've been looking at new wooden houses- does she manage to get up and down on the ones you have?

She can't make it for the home check but is happy for us to rehome a couple of pigs after I sent her a photo of the housing. I said she's welcome to come and check on them any time she wants as well.

I'm bouncing all over the office now! I'll have two new additions to the family tomorrow xx>>>

Flips - Do you mean does she manage to jump up onto the tops/platforms of the houses etc? Yeah she manages no problem, technically she could probably jump onto them then hop out of the cage, but in the 3 years we've had her she hasn't attempted it yet.

Yes, just wondered if she managed to make full use of them/ sit on the top. Thanks. x

The piggie house is very nice. I'm wanting something along those lines for when I get mine (hopefully in May).

I don't live far from you. I'm in Rickleton, Washington. Was it Layla who you were getting your piggies from? x

Love your cage, it's the same size as mine I think 3 x 4 with a 1x3 hayloft?!

Can't wait for pigtures of the new arrivals! x)

Yup Joanne, exact same size!

Hey Donna, yeah getting them from Layla, leaving in about an hour. Still to decide which one's we're going to have though! Yeah think it only takes about 10 minutes to get to Washington from my house so your not far away at all!

Are you taking your current piggy to pick her new friends? Piggy dating? :))

We are now the proud owners of two gorgeous new piggies, Rizzo and Sandy. Both are sows and about 18 months to a year old. Athena's been snuggled up to Sandy all afternoon. I was expecting drama when we put them in but nothing, they just all seemed to accept each other. They've not really been out much so we're just leaving them to get settled and used to their new surroundings. Will get some pics up once they're a bit more relaxed.

Arghhh Athena won't stop eating the correx! Is it dangerous for her? I don't know what I can do to stop her. I go over and try to scare her off but she's that used to us she just stares at us then starts munching on it again. Any suggestions?

Piggies, eh. I think most people tuck their fleece over the edge of the correx, which is what I do. Not sure from your photo- do you have vetbed?

Yeah we've done that and it seems to have put her off. Might have to get a couple more fleeces, they were only a couple of pounds each so might get some tomorrow. She just attempts to eat everything in sight! Today she has mastered the ramp, I think she's rather chuffed with herself as she keeps running up and down it all the time now. The others are yet to attempt it.

thats realy cool i bet they are loving it!
it took one of my pigs a couple of days to brave the ramp when she did she waited until her freind was busy in the hay tray and unable to see her before she would rush up there, I'm sure she was trying to keep it a secret as i had been putting a few goodies up there to encourage them to return again. cheeky little piggie would only come down when she wasnt looking too! how funny in the end meg cottoned on it took about a week though, she seemed a bit {:| that mog had already beat her too it!
