I've got a sweet little syrian called Daenerys, I was sure I already had a thread for her but it seems not,
She was a rescue from applauding condition, very scared of humans when she came to me about 6 months ago,

Today she let me stroke her for the first time!
I've worked with her from a petrified thing that would just freeze and hide till I left the room, to letting me sit next to the cage to now being so happy with me that I can touch her!

Knowing she's from an horrible situation before me makes this breakthrough even more meaningful!
I'm so happy right now I could cry!
My little girls healing!
When I first got her I honestly thought she would never let me touch her because of her past and now look at us!

I must have mentioned her in some other thread? :/ :/
 
I do remember you mentioning her on other threads where people were discussing other pets or hammies but I don’t recall ever seeing a picture until now.

What a sweet little ham. And what a wonderful job you are doing showing her that although every human is big it does not always meant scary :yahoo:. Well done! Here’s to future further progress.

I love hammies too! I've had 4 Syrians, 2 Dwarf Winter Whites (1 was a Sapphire Dwarf Winter White), 1 Dwarf Russian and a rescue Roborowski! I'd love another Syrian but my OH isn't comfortable with them. He prefers piggies!
 
Aww she's absolutely gorgeous. Glad she's becoming more relaxed around you. Cody the hamster says hello pretty lady hamster. :love:
