I'm poorly again .....

In December of last year I posted about being poorly - upset stomach, endless nausea and wobbly legs
This went on for 5 weeks and was never properly diagnosed. The GP put it down to a lingering bacterial infection in my stomach after it left my body by itself

Well - its come back :(

I feel sick constantly. My stomach is very upset, and everytime i eat, I feel ill and shake a lot for about 2 hours. It feels like a massive caffeine rush

Ive no idea what is wrong with me but ive given more blood etc so have to wait and see

Any ideas?

Sorry to hear its come back Jen. Can you not ask for a hospital referral?
 
Well I think if the next set of results show up nothing then I am going to get referred to a gastroenterologist.

Clearly something isnt right and i should get to the bottom of it

I'm being tested for Coeliac disease this time as well :(
 
aww you poor thing I remember you being ill before hope they get it sorted this time and can treat you, like me i know I have lower motor neurone syndrome so far in my arms but might well spread ( not to be confused with MND) its the same thing but not as bad and takes longer to progress, but they keep doing MRis and tests to find out why I got it, hell I know I've got it so do something about it I dont really care why I got it so I do rellay hope you find out soon what it is, take care of yourself Jen and rest, you might need a endoscopy which found my stomach ulcer if you do make sure you have sedation
 
Poor you,it sounds awful,I have just been diagnosed with coeliac disease,I am pleased in one way,as at least now I know why I have been feeling so ill for so many years
 
I sympathise, I suffer from gut problems. Hope you feel better soon and that they can tell you what the problem is. Take care.

Do the symptoms sound like it could be coeliac?
 
I have to be honest with you,I didn't have any gut problems apart from the odd bout of the squirts,my problem was I was constantly tired and ill all of the time with different infections,hope they find out whats wrong soon

I hope the tests point you in the direction for you to be treated quickly
You wont believe this but i was going thru papers today and refound (err dumbo misplaced it.... grrr) your addy and thought i must text Jen :embarassed:
