I'm KINDA FREAKING OUT

So I just gave my Guinea pigs leafy greens that were contaminated with onions. I had read online that they can be fatal. They are behaving relatively normally eating hay and even pop Corning in the last 10 minutes: if anyone has any advice that would be greatly appreciated.

- just go defend myself a little My dad made the salad and I wasn’t thinking it’s 3 am here and I had just finished work . No one has any answers for me at this time of night so I’m turning to y’all for help!

I’m sure they will be okay. Someone will be along soon with a bit more advice but as it’s early here (and Sunday) it may take a while.

Over the years I’ve found guinea pigs are very clever at sussing out what’s not good for them. I don’t think they would touch onions. I think they’ll be fine just monitor them for 24 hours
