My hubby works not far from Ikea, and today as I had to pick him up from work, I decided to go in and feed the family instead of driving all the way home and then start to cook! anyways we had a wonder about, and I spotted some fleece blankets huge ones for just £1.59! they are 51" x 67", and as hubby will be building a new piggy pen this weekend I brought 4 just to get me started and some cheap bath sheets as well £1.99, I think! But they seem to only do them in a light baby blue colour and they are thiner than normal fleece blankets! but still I dont think the piggies will mind :)

You can never have too much fleece! It's always a sad time when you have to let a much loved piece of fleece go (you know, the tired, bobbly-look) but theres nothing like putting a freshly washed, brand new blanket into the cage.
Oddly satisfying! :))

I know what you mean, its so satisfying to see the cage all fresh and clean and not covered in hay and poos! :))

ooohh thats good to know.. except my nearest ikea is southampton i think... hmmm maybe time for a shopping trip up there hehe x

Oh bugger I went past ikea today too! I'll have to pop back sometime! great find tho, i normally buy big enough to double up so if they're a bit thinner then it doesn't matter as much :)

I found fleece blankets in Asda for £2 each...big enough to fold double in my Ferplast 120 cage, and have an extra snuggly bit at the end under the shelf where they like to sleep :) not as cheap as Ikea but good if you don't have a store nearby! x

I have these blankets too they are perfect for my c&c cage. Like you could only get baby blue, maybe they will change the colour every so often as last year I bought a lime green one or the same money.
