IKEA"dilling"-ramp close-ups

I sawed off the ends on both "whole" sides of the lid (it's hinged in the middle) right befor the "lines" on the lid starts. Then I sawed off a bit of what was left that was as wide as I wanted the ramp to be. Under the rap I attached two thinnish pieces of wood (8x15 mm) with screws. Then I fixed the sides to the wood with screws too.

I think what made them take to the ramp so fast is that it's not steep and that it's covered in vetbed. Vetbed gives much better grip than fleece, I think.

It's a really nice job, working with plastic isn't easy but you've done it so it looks like it was always MEANT to be a guinea ramp. :)
 
Ah - will put a spare bit of vet bed on my stinky bums ramp!
