As you can see, Pearl loves the new hay pile! We’re trying this instead of just the hay racks.

My two much prefer a big hay pile rather than racks...Apparently hay tastes nicer when you are underneath it!

Mine don't like the hay racks either. Lol. Guess they will just have a messy cage.

We started with hayracks then haytrays but last week we built a 3x2 hay room just for floor hay. Piggies like it a lot, so much so I'm wondering why I have the other 12 square feet of cage that isnt a hay room...

We have a hay rack and a hay egg-box with some stiff timothy hay with added herbs, and a hay tray with meadow tray for burrowing. Sometimes they also get a hay bag (with meadow hay).

They do love being in hay, but they're not going to have a full-on hay cage. I throw away (and get mess) enough from the tray...
