ideas for my boys

okay so i have come to the understanding a female is a big NO, so no worries there however with my boys i need a huge and awesome cage so need some ideas okay of everything even play tops accessories etc please
p.s thanks for the ppl who werent getting annoyed at me when i was being frustrating

If you have got the space then a C&C cage looks brilliant. I wish that I had the space indoors for one for my piggies. If you look round the forum there a pics of members set ups and they look amazing.
 
C and C cages are the best. For toys guinea pigs love cardboard rolls,paper bags filled with hay,cardboard boxes with a hole cut in so they can climb in and out.
 
its hard to come by c c cages stuff in australia cant order it either so have to look, thinkin havin a small indoor cage for winter and the large one for summer and like nice days, only when its to hot or cold in the one i have the two story one that is pushing it for two. but i deff will have two cages
 
You can build a cage from closet wire shelvings (or any other kind of metal shelvings) as long as the space between the bars are not bigger than 1.5 inches (3.8 cm). You can make the floor from linoleum. The idea of C&C cages are just to have enough or the pigs to run around and exercise on their own time. It doesn't matter what material you build it from, as long as it's safe. You can even line the cage with plastic shower curtain if you can't find other materials. Just make sure it's covered and the pigs can't chew it.

my indoor is made up of puppy play pen panels, had to buy two of them as one pen wasnt big enough for my 4. Not a great photo as the light isnt great when I took it but you can see its taller than a c&c grid (have a dog that would love to "play" with my pigs.

normally I would have cleaned the pen before taking a photo but I was snapping crystal lying down so it would have disturbed her.

I have tarpaulin underneath and surrounding the sides to stop any mess getting on the double bed base, correx sheeting ontop the tarp, then newspaper, then towels and finally fleece. I covered one end with an old sheet to give them a cozy area to sleep in, especially as they were used to a hutch during the summer so would have been too open otherwise.

With building your own pen out of whatever you find to use means you can make a pen to your specification and I would recommend this if you are able to.

If you are thinking about a C&C I know a few people in Australia who have C&Cs and could ask them where they got their stuff?
