Hey! I’m following the IC diet recommended on this forum as one of my piggies has stones, but I’ve introduced it to all 4 of my piggies to prevent future problems. 3 of my piggies are loving it, but one is refusing to eat the celery. I just wondered if anyone had any recommendations of something we could replace the celery with, that has similar nutritional value? Thank you in advance :)

It’s not essential for them to have any veggies particularly. But with IC it’s even more important to avoid high calcium veggies. Stick to things like cucumber, pepper, coriander. And make sure water is filtered.
My IC piggie also really benefited from daily supplementation of Cystease.

Thanks, they’ve always had filtered water and my bladder piggy has been on cystease for around 3 weeks now (though before that they did take oxbow urinary support biscuits which contain glucosamine too) I’m following the IC diet on the forum so green pepper, coriander, cucumber, green bean, spring greens and celery (20g twice per day so 40g veg per pig) and I’ve noticed less calcium deposits since starting a few weeks ago! I mainly wondered about the celery in particular in case it had any specific benefits but I’ll just cut it out for the one pig who hates it :)
