that I feel really chuffed at the moment.

Due to one of our guinea pigs having to be pts (Sheamus) Big E was left alone, we tried him next to the sows, he didn't seem that interested. So we put him back in his proper cage and after seeing him look down I decided to ask my son what he would like to do in regards to Big E, would he like to neuter and try him with one of our sows or would he like to adopt.. he opted for adopting because he didn't trust the vets here due to us losing two guinea's due to rubbish vets (sorry to be so blunt), he contact one rescue who said they could help but it would be with a younger guinea which I don't agree with for certain reasons, although I would have gone with the idea for Big E, however I speak to a couple of other woman that run a rescue and they contacted us to say they were getting a boar in and asked if we would like to try him with Big's, my son said yes....

So just over a week later off Big E went to meet his new friend, who's name was Buster at the time, my son said there was the normal trying it on with each other but they soon stopped it, he bought them both back, both seemed quite happy in the pet carrier... cleaned their cage out, put them in and tada! No real trouble! The normal dominance thing, but no teeth chattering nothing like that, the whole thing has surprised me because apparently Jericho was a loan piggie and was never handled really, he was fed and clean but that was about it and I also thought Big's might reject him because of him being so close to Sheamus. Big's does still seem a bit sad on occasions but better than he was when he was on his own. They are a pair of nutters lol :)

The other reason that I'm so chuffed is, this was our second successful bond, the first was Storm and Snow, two baby boars.

Here's a pic of Big E (the dark brown piggie) and Jericho... Jericho is trying to eat my son as usual lol. (Excuse the quality of the picture).

No need to apologise for being blunt, some vets do fail our pets :( I'm so sorry you've lost two due to that. Well done on the successful bonding and adopting from a rescue. The boys are gorgeous!

Great news on successful bonds! Its always a wonderful ease to your own heartache when you can see a bereaved piggy happy again with a new friend.
I have always loved your wrestling names for the piggies too! :)) Daddypig and I always thinking Ambrose and Rollins would be good names hehe, or Nikki and Brie for girls, or Hunter and Shawn... the list is endless!

@Tbag hah yeah we love wrestling. We've been to see live shows and have met three wrestlers :) My favourites are Sheamus and Natalya, I like John Cena as well.

We have Nattie, Big E, Jericho and Sheamus who sadly passed. The other lovely piggies are Storm, Snow, Cocoa and Khaleesi (you know where Khaleesi comes from lol) :) Oh and we have two mice, Pirate and.... Edge! lol... We have a dog as well who is Calam (Calamity) who gets called Calmo, Mo, beauty boy lol.

Ambrose and Rollins! Don't give me ideas lol. Yeah so many names that you can use from WWE. I was thinking about getting rats when I sort our bungalow out. Not 100%sure yet because I think that 7 guinea's, 2 mice and a dog might be enough lol.

The rescue was also amazed at how well Jericho and Big's bonded.

It is great that it all has worked out so well for Big E and your son!

Edge the mouse! thats brilliant haha!

Haven't been to any live shows myself but follow it pretty regularly now, and loved the attitude era! Think it'd have to be something really special like mania/rumble/summer slam for me to pay to see it live... and that would be paying a lot since we'd have to go to the states haha.

@Tbag lol yeah my son was a big fan of Edge's. It would be nice if they did a WM in the UK or one of the smaller ones. The live shows aren't bad, it just depends who they have at the time. I wanted to go the last time because Natalya and Sheamus were there but my poor Sheamus the guinea pig wasn't well, he was pts the day after :/ He was my little mate, miss him loads.

Thanks @VickiA
