I was trying to sort out my jigsaw stash and...

I'm guessing at least one of them is minus a piece anyway, but I didn't buy these, my neighbour did.

Also I have more jigsaws than I realised. I'm just going through atm to find ones where the bag's been opened and try those first before pieces get another chance to hide away.

I'm trying to see what books you have.....some on the middle shelf look like pratchett ?

I tend to stick with a max of 1000 because that's all the portable tray will hold. The mat works for up to 3000 pieces but it doesn't hold the shape so well when you roll it up.

I love making puzzles sadly due to our expanding piggy cages I haven't had room to put the puzzle table up this year. I've still got some stashed away I've not made yet. You have a lovely collection there @Lorcan.
In the 1970s we had lots of power cuts and as a family we did a 3000 piece puzzle of Compton Acres Gardens in Dorset by candle light. My Dad mounted it on a board and made a fame for it, it was hung in the hall of our family home for years. These days I struggle to see well enough to do a puzzle by bright day light!

I have a 500 piece ready to start that isn't in that photo lol. Gonna sit down and count through the pieces in a bit, needed to stop for a snack break!

I never liked hardbacks because of having small hands. With arthritis etc I struggle with a paperback now. At least with the kindle I can manage

Crap sorry, I hadn't realised I'd forgotten to reply to this specifically - the library binding is hardback, but lightweight, it's lighter than some paperbacks I own. Plus it comes with a free bookmark ribbon, but yeah, it's not the dead weight most hardbacks are.
