Can anyone recommend to me some nice snuggle sacs for my boys, they have 1 large one at the moment but Hoggle always gets pushed out, Ludo thinks I bought it for him rolleyes so if I can get them one each, my mind will be at ease.

I reeeeeeeally love the choc mint ones on the cosy cavy website but I am wondering what size they are as 2 in one cage of 4x2ft together with their armchair and food bowls, will it take up too much room?

I want to get rid of the current snuggle sac as it isn't as pretty as those ones!

would say make your own but sewing machines are evil! lol

I don't have any so can't advise you there :))

I share your pain, lovelygirl. It is so frustrating when the sewing machine won't co-operate. Having said that, my cozies are very good value for money because I buy wadding in 50m rolls and I have a very well-stocked local fabric shop which sells fleece at a very good price. I use 30cm 2oz wadding in a standard or large cozy and 60cm in an XL. Cozies take nearly 30cm fleece, so I am able to offer very good value for money when you consider the cost of buying the materials involved from a fabric shop. By the way, have you discovered heavy-duty needles yet? They are a godsend!

What sizes would you recommend? My boys are only 5 months old at the mo but am thinking of when they get bigger - would a standard one be suitable for each pig? Is there room for them to get in together if they wanted to?

Do you have any choc lime colours? If not no worries, I would sooner get them from you anyway as you are working for a good cause!

i also got mine from pollie Rascal has taken to sleeping on top of it so it functions more as a cushion than a cozy rolleyes i got an xl one and that fits 2 big piggies in

I would say that an XL is best if you want two piggies to fit inside and sleep together. Many people are ordering 1 x large and 1 x XL because it gives them lots of flexibility. I know that there are cheaper alternatives available, but I think you might find that they do not have any padding inside them. This makes them less cushy for the pigs and means that they will not stay open in the cage. It also makes them lighter (and cheaper) to send. Even my standard cozy costs £1.41 to send. Also, I use heavyweight fleece, whereas lots of fleece available is very cheap and thin. This also makes my cozies heavier, but they are also very, very soft and hardwearing.

I've just got one of Pollie's cosies and think it's great.
I looked at the ones on the cavy couture site and wasn't keen on the opening having a plastic ring because I think my lovely piggies would decide to chew through the material to dig it out. Pollie's ones are so thickly padded they stay open on their own (I have an XL one). My vote goes to Pollie and supporting a good cause at the same time.

I have had some from Pollie and you won't get a better quality one from any where else. I love them as do my piggies.:))

I really am interested, I am just worried about cage space. They may have to sacrifice their armchairs :o

To be honest, they only lay together when big bad mummy comes over, if left to their own devices, Hoggle ends up sat outside and it isn't fair. I would rather get 2 standard sizes. What colours do you do? :)

the best thing to do for the boys is to switch things over to keep it interesting. mine get different houses and different tubes and toys every week and it keep them more interested if you keep them on their paws :)) Does explain why i know have a guinea pig wardrobe lol rolleyes
