I think I need new bedding.

So the bedding I'm using right now might be the cause of Pepsi's dry feet. Plus, I've heard it can irritate piggies (pine shavings)

Either way, I'm looking for a new bedding. What would you suggest? Is it possible to just use shredded newspaper or something?

It would be in Pepsi and Buddy's cage which gets cleaned 2x a week. I'd like to steer away from wood based things, too.

good idea to change from pine shavings. Horse supply shops usually stock different types of bedding, I know small bits of chopped cardboard is avaliable as bedding, or megazorb or medi bed which is short chopped straw
 
I'd say Megazorb or Auboise is best. Fleece is good if you can handle all the washing. xx
 
I love megazorb can get on with fleece or vetbed at alll. Megazorb stays dry I find I have to clean my piggie out less often now just poop pick now and again x
