Christian is on long term (possibly for life) Metacam for a back injury. I will try (again) to ween him off it when I get back from holiday hopefully successfully this time. I have written "The Idiots Guide" on how to give him Metacam for the piggie sitters.
 
Silky's the same, on it for life 'cos of arthritic knees. She grabs the syringe with her teeth!

I'm wondering what to do when we're away for 10 days in a few weeks. Might be a professional sitter job as she is a nightmare to catch even though she loves the meds.

In the morning I have to catch Christian to weigh him and then he has his Metacam he has never liked the being picked up bit but likes his cuddles and his meds. In the evening, I just call him and he comes to the hutch bars and I just give him his meds there. Could you train Silky to do the same?
