I Ordered A New Cage!

I am so excited - I finally ordered a new cage for the guinea pigs :D
Sadly it won't be dispatched until the 20th June, but I guess I will just have to try and be patient.
Luckily Eddi, Lucy and Ruby don't know it's coming, so they won't suffer having to wait like I will!

It will be a huge change.
We will be going from an outdoor hutch (which is actually inside) with Auboise bedding, to a C&C with fleece.

Thank you for offering place where I can share my excitement - so far only the kids seem as interested as me!
 
I built my own c&c cage and researched it for months I was super excited and spent the entire weekend building it when the time finally came! Have you started shopping for fleece yet? That is probably my next favorite thing

I have ordered 2 fleece liners, but other than that I plan to make most of the fleece bits and pieces myself.
Not only will it help to keep the cost down, but I love to sew and it's a good excuse to visit the fabric store :D
Although as I walked in the door with 2 huge bags from the fabric store the other day I think I saw DH roll his eyes when I told him how much money this was saving us....
 
Briiliant, we were so excited to be getting our c&c cage so know how you are feeling. Can't wait for pictures! The piggies are going to love it!
