Well today i am bonding my 2 Boar's, Eli & Chestnut.
So far it has gone well, there has been a bit of humping and teeth chattering but nothing too serious.
I'm going to put them in the big inddor cage and see how they go tonight.
I have a spare cage ready just in case lol.
So wish me luck please x

Little update

Well after being in the run together for 4 hour's and a big plate of salad to share they are now in the big cage together with 2 water bottle's each side of the cage and 2 food bowl's either end of the cage they are settling well, they has been a bit of rumbling and teeth chattering but nothing too serious.

I'm hoping it stay's this way so fingers crossed.
I'll update you all tomorrow.

Good morning all,

Well after a sleepless night both Eli & Chestnut are fine, no fighting, rumbling, teeth chattering anymore.
I will try and upload pic's when i have found the lead to my phone.

xx

Good to hear! It must be such a relief for you! I'm looking forward to your pics.

Hi

That's great news. I'm curious, how old are they? And have they been castrated? I'd love to keep my boars together.

I have two who are about three and I don't know if that's ok to be castrated to put with girlies. Just wondered. :)

Eli is 18 months, chestnut is 10 months and no they have not been snipped

How exciting. Mine are older, but maybe I could tentatively try them, I think I'd be scared though... I'm not very brave!

having the snip doesnt alter behaviour in piggies.. i would give it a go.. as long as you are well prepared..try the sticky on boar bonding
I have paired mine succesfully my first pair didnt work out but are fine with their new cagemates *fingers crossed* lol

Thanks, I remembered that just as a pressed submit! That's reassuring though really, mine have as a good a chance as any I suppose! This may be a mission for my summer holiday! I can keep an eye on them in the sun, it'll tough work but I'm prepared :))

good luck hope all goes well for yu
