I need advice please :)

I have two female guinea pigs roughly around 16 weeks old. They are both in the same cage. At first i noticed that one was trying to get on top of the other one quite a lot. Now the same one is making a low purring kind of noise whilst following the other one. Both walking very stiffly. I'm a bit worried/concerned at what is happening? Does anybody have any ideas?
 
It could be dominance, or it could be that you have a male and a female..... could you please post clear close up pics of the "bits" so that we can advise. Thanks
 
Well if it is one of each they will need to be separated ASAP, it may be too late, but you can never be too sure.
 
I did think that and I have checked a couple of times, and I think they are female but i will try post some pics soon
