Hi, last week i got a baby guinea pig from the pets store and they said it's a girl, but when I arrived home, it started to bumble to her cage mate, which is 1 year older. The genitalia seems to be an Y, but has a lump above that Y and I'm not sure what gender my piggie is.

Once your registration completes, you can post picture of the genitals in clear lighting with the slit slightly opened.

However there is a hands on element. You need to gently open the slit and check to see if there is a fleshy seal - that means it is a sow. If there is no fleshy seal just inside the slit then it is a boar

Hopefully, this is clear enough.

Hmm... Looks like a little girl to me? If you gently feel above the opening you can sometimes feel a little ridge in male piggies. This is the penis ridge.
