I was doing her nails, and she was so upset she was crying, not her usual upset squeak tiny whimpers. Might I add I did not hurt her or catch the quick! Silly girl, she quickly cheered up once I gave her some coriander for being a good girl :))! xx>>>

Don't think I ever want to hear it again though, I felt terrible :(!
 
I know how dare I my problem is she has the most annoying nails that curve in all directions, not too mention the fact she can't sit still doesn't help, they needed done desperately... rolleyes...

Fred and Wilma were brave piggies still wriggled just as much though!
 
My answer to all things pigs don't like us doing to them is always the same - green beans :)
 
I know the feeling, Spike's on Septrim at the moment and really doesn't like it and did start crying when he saw the syringe. Had a lovely cuddle and piece of cucumber afterwards so I think I've been forgiven.
 
The long green beans Joanne - you can buy the posh ones trimmed or it's cheaper to get them not trimmed - you get more in a pack.

I've not found a guinea who hates them yet.

I have a couple like your pebbles who have silly curvey nails who cry. I had to do 6 of them last night and 2 were absolute pains!
 
I think sometimes you have to just tell they are being silly and get on with it is for the best!
 
My Perky (RIP:0 ) had the worst feet I've seen, she had very curly nails no matter how much you trimmed them. She once suffered from bumble foot which took a while to clear up but it left 3 of her front toes stuck upwards and the vet said it would never be normal. It didn't cause her discomfort but made her nails awkward to cut. I've never heard a piggy cry, I give them lots of veg afterwards but they squirm when you try to cut them.
I hate cutting nails especially Patch and Poppy's back nails as they are 4 feet of little black nails:{:{
