Aaaaaaaarrrrrgh! Owned! Oh, OK.

She might have been scared though.

The hamsters have owned me for years :)

Ours did this a fair bit in the early days.
If I were to name and shame I would probably mention that Eddi peed on pretty much everyone who ever held him (including on one particularly delightful afternoon, my daughters friend from school).

But to be honest I can't remember the last time this happened.
They quickly learnt (not sure how really) to get off our laps before they pee.
During lap time the kids sit at either end of the sofa, and we put a folded beach towel in the middle.
If they are holding a guinea pig and it suddenly gets restless or just climbs off their lap it is usually to pee, and then they climb right back on.

Smudge was not restless. She did not seem quite settled, but more frightened than usual.

Sigh. I'm never going to own a horse!

...by being peed on by Smudge during cuddle time.

Twice!

It was probably because they are still very nervous. Poppy hasn't done it yet though.

Or is it normal? The lap pad I have ordered from Ziggy's Piggies cannot come quick enough!

I agree with @VickiA - welcome to the club!

And again tonight.

Twice. Again.

Smudge missed the puppy pad on my lap...my top had it this time. I'm sure she was grinning...

:)) You are honored by piggy shower! The furry ones worship you as a god

Phew...Smudge tried again tonight...straight on to a puppy pad!

Dry lap finally!

But I think that I am scaring them bringing them out for lap time every night. After they have gone through the dominance phase they will go in to a pen as well. How long before that happens? I have had them almost two weeks
